Tiny Hero is around 1/3 the size of an official Guitar Hero controller when collapsed. It includes the same basic functionality with slight changes. Its rectangular shape subtly resembles a guitar while maintaining a comfortable length for play. The 5 main buttons and strum bar are based on the originals, while the 3 smaller buttons are optional re-mapped functions like pause and "Star Power."
A physical model was made using a 3D printed and painted body. A Playstation 2 Guitar Hero controller's circuits and buttons were used to prove functionality.
